Recruitment day 2025

What:
Come to ROAM's first annual recruitment day! We will be setting up tables at the Arboretum to talk to interested youth about our organization, our different disciplines, and to help them get signed up with ROAM. We also will have some short skills demonstrations/lessons at various times throughout the day, and a short hike through the park. Snacks and games will be ongoing, so feel free to bring frisbees, balls, snacks, and picnic blankets. If you have been interested in ROAM but are not sure where to start or how to get involved, this is the event for you! Whether or not you are new to ROAM, we encourage you to drop by and bring along family and friends you think might be interested - we want to see as many new faces as possible.

When:
May 10th - drop by anytime between 12:00 and 3:00 pm

Where:
At the Arboretum! Park in lots #14 or #15 near the Visitors Center and walk over the bridge to Foster Island. ROAM youth will also be positioned near the visitor center to help guide you.

How:
RSVP to this form! It is not necessary to attend, but would be helpful so we can get a general headcount.

We will also want already involved youth to be able to stand behind tables and talk to recruits about different disciplines, as well as adults to help supervise, talk to recruits, and help them get signed up with ROAM, so if any of those sound like something you'd be able to do, please fill out this volunteer form.
